Official letter 1477/BHXH-CSXH dated 23rd april 2013 by viet nam social insurance guiding the implementation of maternity regime according to labour law no. 10/2012/qh13
According to the guidance at the official letter 1477/BHXH-CSXh:
• Labor births before 05/01/2013, which to date is still 05/01/2013 during maternity leave under the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance, the period of maternity leave is made under paragraph 1 of Article 157 of the Labor Code (total maternity leave period is 06 months).
• Where to stay before birth than 02 months, the period of maternity leave entitlement is calculated from the time the full 02 months before giving birth
