OFFICIAL LETTER 28/2015/TT-BLĐTBXH DATED 31 JULY 2015 MINISTER OF LABOR-INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS IN GUIDANCE OF SOME ARTICLES DOR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE
Ministry of Labor-Invalids and social affairs issued together with Circular 28/2015/TT-BTC in guidance of some contents of unemployment insurance. Accordingly, some contents should be noted as follows:
Objects of participating in unemployment insurance

In case, before 01 Jan 2015, employers sign contract in season or with a fixed job from 3 months to less 12 months with employees and performing this contract, until 01 Jan 2015, contract duration is at least more 3 months, employers must participate in unemployment insurance to employees from 01 Jan 2015.
Salary level to contribute unemployment insurance

Employers contribute unemployment insurance with salary regime decided by employers.

If monthly salary level of employers is higher than 12 months of area minimum salary level, employers and employees must contribute unemployment insurance with salary level equaling to 20 months of area minimum salary level from 01 Jan2015.

Monthly Salary level of unemployment allowance of employees is determined as follows:

Monthly unemployment allowance of employees maximizes 05 times compared with basic salary level for employers implementing salary regime regulated by State or five times of area minimum salary level for employers decided by employers at the time of ceasing labor contract.
Months of receiving unemployment allowance
Months of receiving unemployment allowance are calendar months. Each month of receiving unemployment allowance is from the date that employees start receiving unemployment allowance till that date of the next month minus 01 day.
