OFFICIAL LETTER 4061/CTHPH-TTHT ABOUT EPEs LIQUIDATING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT INTO DOMESTIC MARKET
Official letter 4061/CTHPH-TTHT about EPEs liquidating machinery and equipment into domestic market:
In case LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. is an export processing enterprise (EPE) when liquidating assets into the domestic market, the liquidated assets do not have to go through customs procedures according to the provisions of the law on customs, the export processing enterprise shall apply the method of calculating VAT according to the provisions of Article 7, Article 8 of Decree No. 209/2013/ND-CP dated December 18, 2013 of the Government, Article 12, Article 13 of Circular 210/2013/TT-BTC dated December 31, 2013 of the Ministry of Finance to declare and calculate VAT on asset liquidation activities and use invoices according to the provisions of Article 8 of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government.
